Jennifer Mueller
Jen is an advocacy communications and media relations professional with a deep understanding of environmental issues. She has master’s degree in environmental policy from the University of Maryland and an undergraduate degree in environmental science from the University of Massachusetts. She has spent more than a decade working on environmental and green living issues, much of it on national policy in Washington DC for Environment America, Food & Water Watch, Washington DC Network for Livable Communities, and U.S. PIRG.
Jen specializes in making complicated policy issues accessible to and compelling for the average person and regularly writes green living tips as the Washington DC Green Living Examiner and on making a difference as a causes blogger at Care2.
Jennifer Mueller is also a Washington DC mom, avid photographer, habitual runner, novice yogi, and owner of a small green pacific parrotlet named Bug. She lives with her husband and toddler daughter in a Washington DC row house that they renovated themselves. Jen blogs her observations on being engaged and staying present at Puddle Jumping in DC.
